CineMeets Africa is a pioneering Pan-African platform co-founded by two formidable industry leaders:
● Okedore Oluwafemi Victor, a visionary Film Director from Lagos, Nigeria, and
● Nazeera Hartley, an award-winning Producer from Cape Town, South Africa.
Founded in January 2025, CineMeets Africa was created to bridge the gaps in the African film industry, provide a united platform for collaboration, and champion the continent’s creative economy across borders.
We are not simply a training platform — we are a movement of industry reformers, uniting filmmakers, creatives, and decision-makers to unlock Africa’s full cinematic potential.

Goals of the CineMeets Africa
Short term goals
- Empowerment to young and professional Filmmakers globally
- Collaboration with Film schools and Film industry professionals for the purpose of sharing their job experience in the industry
- Creating an international database for Filmmakers for the purpose of creating jobs
- Organizing international collaboration for Filmmakers for economic development
- Connecting Filmmakers to film distribution platforms or companies for the purpose of selling their film projects
Long term goals
- Organizing crowd funding for specific African Film projects
- Creating a free streaming platform for African Film projects (we shall be getting return of investment through paid advertisement, company and product logo ads, Google data usage, to name a few)
- Creating a Film festival and award to celebrate African filmmakers
- Sponsoring and producing impactful, economically profitable African film projects
